The GTM ST1801A is an electric tile cutter meant for cutting porcelain stoneware at 90 degrees and at 45 degrees. The cutter can take off a micro-chamfer, a bullnose chamfer with a finger bit, and it can also cut grooves for strips. Its main job is the 45 degree cut (chamfering). Its special feature is the automatic travel of the carriage with the blade. This cutter, like its rivals Wandeli and Shijing, is at its best on porcelain stoneware. The blade is cooled by water fed into the cutting area.

The water is fed by a pump and the pressure can be adjusted. It reaches the blade through two small tubes that can be adjusted. Water feed plus automatic travel at low speed keeps chipping to a minimum. A blade for cutting the hardest porcelain stoneware is included. A finger bit for chamfering is included. The powerful 1750 W brushed motor of the angle grinder type will handle porcelain stoneware up to 19 mm thick in one pass.

There is a gearbox that lowers the blade mounting axis. The motor with the blade can be raised and locked at any height. The travel speed of the carriage can be adjusted. You can work by hand. There is a mode that returns the carriage to the starting position. There is a residual current device against electric shock. The guide (rail), the side post of the rail and some other parts are made of aluminium.

The table is aluminium, so the cutter is very light, only 45 kg. The cutter stands firmly on its legs. The legs fold easily. There are wheels so it can be moved around the site. A red laser is there for quick and easy marking out of the tile.
