The SHIJING 1200 9033 carries on the SHIJING 1200 line that is well known on the Ukrainian market, now with an automatic feed for the cutting carriage. On top of everything this machine already had, one important function has been added that turns it into a professional tool able to handle large volumes of work at factory quality and speed.

Cut quality on this machine rests on a low cutting speed, a 2300 W motor and 13 000 rpm, which lets you work efficiently with blades up to Ø120 mm. An important design decision is the belt drive from the motor to the spindle: it cuts noise, reduces wear on the spindle bearings and increases cutting height.

The shaft is turned to the Chinese standard bore – 20 mm – so a reducing washer is used for blades with a 22.2 mm bore. The shaft will take two blades at once – one for the cut, one for the chamfer. You can fit any small diameter blade, 115 or 125 mm, to work different materials (from porcelain stoneware, laminate and granite to glass), to shape cut faces of any profile and to cut grooves for stair treads. A convex chamfer included.

The table is laid out well: the cutting zone gets a good wash of water, and you can run separate tanks so that only clean water is fed to the work and the dirty water is collected apart.

The automatic carriage feed with manual speed setting lets you get the cut face you want – from a fast cut with a normal face to a cut at minimum speed with a face of perfect quality. The carriage is driven by a rack under the guide bar, so the speed adjustment is right in front of you and easy to keep an eye on. There are travel limiters at the end of the table that shut the movement off in time and rule out damage to the machine, so the operator does not have to watch the process and can mark out the next tile instead.

The 2300 W motor with its high speed of 13000 rpm is extremely productive and gives a clean cut. This design, the motor power included, lets you do two jobs in one pass: the cut, and working the edge with a chamfering blade. It will also cut at a 45 degree tilt – take a chamfer off. The laser pointer the machine comes with speeds the work up, and it helps a lot with chamfering in particular. With extra tooling – finger bits – the machine will cut a mini chamfer or a convex chamfer. Water cooling extends the life of those bits.
