BIHUI tile cutter (carriage) for large format tile.

The BIHUI manual cutting system for wide format tile will cut large format porcelain stoneware up to 3.2 m long and up to 10 mm thick (4-8 mm is the ideal range). The BIHUI large format cutter runs on 3 sturdy aluminium rails of different lengths (an option, supplied separately). That is done so it is easier to cut different tile sizes. Under the rails (guides) there are inserts – rubber tubes that stop them slipping. The carriage runs along the top of the rails on plastic wheels. The plastic wheels do no harm to the aluminium and extend the life of the guide rails. The carriage is not a plunge type. It is designed to bite no more than 1 mm into a large format tile.

Two scoring wheels are included, both 8 mm. There are 2 breakers in the kit, nippers for delicate tile and a plain breaker for thicker stock. Three suction cups and two clamps – they hold the rail firmly against any movement. The guide rail (an option, supplied separately) for BIHUI wide format slab cutting systems fits both the manual system and the electric cutter (supplied separately).

What the BIHUI manual cutting system for large format tile gives you:

• the carriage rides on plastic bushings, which makes the glide smoother during the cut;
• the guide rails of the system are made of extruded aluminium, which makes the cutting system strong and light;

• also fitted with 2 clamps to lock the rail to the tile at the edges;

The BIHUI cutting system comes with:

    • 1 cutting head (carriage) with a tungsten carbide scoring wheel, assembled;
    • 1 spare scoring wheel ∅ 8 mm;
    • 3 aluminium suction cups for holding the guides on the tile;
    • 2 clamps for holding the guides at the tile edges (option);
    • 1 pair of nippers;
    • 1 breaker for tile up to 10 mm;
    • a plastic case and a bag for storing and carrying the tools.
