Raimondi Power Raizor 433PWROHR Carriage

The carriage for the Raimondi Raizor tile cutter, called the Raizor Power 433PWROHR, is a unique multi-purpose piece of kit.

If your large-format tile is very expensive (you are afraid of damaging it), faulty (with microcracks), over-fired, has thick enamel and does not snap properly with the Raimondi Raizor, then the Raizor Power comes into its own. For especially delicate slabs you can even cut with the blade without going the full depth. You can of course cut into the middle of a slab, or stop short of the end.
Besides a straight cut, the carriage can also:
– take off a chamfer (45 degree angle);
– cut a bullnose chamfer (the finger bit has to be bought separately);
– cut a groove in the edge of the tile for fixing systems;
A good blade comes with it.

As a universal choice for all these jobs I recommend an angle grinder with speed control, of medium power – 1200 W, from a well-known maker.
