Siri Cut 3 Kit Rail System

The SIRI CUT 3 KIT (SIRI GUIDE 330 CM + SIRI CAT 3) is made for cutting large format tile up to 3300 mm long. It is built around very strong aluminium guide rails. Steel tubes are set inside the rails and the carriage runs along them on 4 rollers. The whole thing is a model of strength and reliability. The kit comes with 6 good suction cups, breaking pliers and a case. Because the carriage has a lever that multiplies the pressure, this is the most powerful tile cutter there is. That is what lets it cut the thickest tile.

The Siri is meant for cutting and working large format tile. Its advantage is that it will do a whole range of operations that no other tile cutter will do. It is extremely strong, but it only shows what it is capable of in the hands of a craftsman. You can work with it as it comes, but a few small modifications will let a tiler do practically every operation on large format tile, and not only that.
1). The SIRI will make a straight cut with the blade fully plunged. It will also cut with the blade only partly plunged, for really difficult tile.
2) The SIRI will do a clean mitre (45 degree cut, chamfer);
3) With grinding pads and finger bits the Siri will grind the edge. More than that, if the material is stressed and has bowed. Grinding lets you SIMPLY get a perfectly straight face. The carriage helps a lot here – you press the bit down with it and simply get the result you need;
4) The Siri will also grind the 45 degree face. It will in fact cut that 45 face straight away with finger bits. Or finish it after the blade. And with grinding pads you can SIMPLY grind down to 0 with no risk of breaking the edge ;
5) The SIRI has a unique angle grinder mount that takes grinders from any maker and of any power (for a 125 mm blade);
6) The Siri has adjustments no one else has. I particularly like the carriage that travels perpendicular. You can adjust the tilt angle and take it past 45 degrees.
7) The rails are strong enough to be clamped down hard to the table.
8) A few small modifications get rid of the dust – completely.
9) the joint between carriage and rail is extremely solid – it guarantees long life and no flexing at 45. On top of that the rollers and tubes are large, so travel is smooth and dirt does not jam them ;
10) the design lets you use Sigma 19 mm scoring wheels, which are the best there is for difficult tile.
11) the quality of the Siri suction cups – they are better than any Chinese ones, and you get 6 of them!

In the video the tiler cuts a tile that neither a manual nor an electric tile cutter could handle. The tile is 11 mm thick. First a 7 mm groove was cut on the back with a Distar blade. Then we finish the cut on the face with the manual cutter and a Sigma scoring wheel.
