Distar Mechanic ExtraLine Large Format Cutter, 3200 mm

Distar has put forward its own take on a tile cutter for large format tile – the MECHANIC ExtraLINE cutter with a cut length of 3200 mm. This cutter has been on the Chinese market for a long time and reached us under the MECHANIC brand. The rail is copied almost completely from the Italian Raimondi and the carriage is much the same in principle. Just as on the Raimondi, the suction cups sit under the rail. But the carriage is built to take as many as three scoring wheels, which you can switch between quickly by turning them. On top of that, unlike the Raimondi, the carriage has a lever handle. Thanks to it the maker declares that the system can cut tile up to 15 mm thick. For compactness, though, and perhaps also to make cutting small format tile comfortable, Distar made the rail in 3 parts (two joints). There are not 6 suction cups as on the Raimondi but as many as 7. The breaker is copied from the well-known Italian Montolit breaker, which has proved itself well. The ExtraLINE name was borrowed from the well-known cutters of the Russian company DIAM. It comes with a bag and a cover, in which all the equipment fits neatly.
