A feature of the design.

A powerful 2300 W motor turning at 13000 rpm gives a high cutting speed without needing large diameter blades. A Ø115 mm blade is used, and that diameter is enough for a clean, high quality cut. Because of the belt drive the cutting depth is up to 30 mm.

The SHIJING SJ 1200 has a powerful motor, and that lets you mount a chamfering blade alongside the cutting blade, so you do two jobs in one pass – cut and chamfer.

The small diameter blades available on the market let the SJ series cut finishing materials – from laminate (with a carbide tipped saw blade) to marble or granite and even glass – and also shape the cut face into any form you like and take the matt coating off tile when making stair treads.

A lot of attention went into refining the water cooling and the dust protection. Separate tanks are used for clean and for used water, which extends the life of the pump. The cutting zone has an extra guard, so the work can be done even inside an occupied flat – with the SJ series there is practically no dust.

As always, SHIJING has thought transport through well on the SJ 1200 – the handy layout lets you switch it quickly from working to transport position and move it on two wheels.
