GTM ST1201M tile cutter
The GTM ST1201M is an electric tile cutter made for cutting porcelain stoneware at 90 degrees and at 45 degrees. The cutter can take off a micro chamfer, a convex chamfer with a finger bit, and cut grooves for stair treads. Its main job is the 45 degree cut (chamfering). This cutter, like its rivals Wandeli and Shijing, is at its best on porcelain stoneware. The blade is cooled by water fed into the cutting zone. A pump does the feeding and the pressure can be adjusted. Water reaches the blade through two small tubes that can be aimed. A blade for the hardest porcelain stoneware is included. A finger bit for chamfering is included as well. The powerful 1750 W brushed motor, angle grinder type, will take porcelain stoneware up to 19 mm thick in a single pass. There is a gearbox that lowers the blade mounting axis. The motor with the blade can be raised and locked at any height. There is a residual current device to protect against electric shock. The guide (rail), the side post of the rail and some other parts are made of aluminium. The table is metal, well painted. The cutter stands firmly on its legs. The legs fold easily. There are wheels so it can be moved around the site. A red laser is there to make marking out the tile quick and easy.
