Battipav PROFI EVO 63 ALU tile cutter

The Battipav PROFI EVO 63 ALU is the smallest in the range of cutters for tile. The range comes in the following sizes:

• Nuova Battipav PROFI EVO 63 ALU (L = 630 mm) – 9 600 UAH
• Nuova Battipav PROFI EVO 103 ALU (L = 1030 mm) – 14 600 UAH
• Nuova Battipav PROFI EVO 133 ALU (L = 1330 mm) – 18 000 UAH
• Nuova Battipav PROFI EVO 163 ALU (L = 1630 mm) – 20 000 UAH

These are professional cutters for diagonal and straight cuts in ceramic tile and porcelain stoneware.

Battipav PROFI EVO ALU cutters are percussion-type. But you have to try on each tile whether to use a strike or steady pressure. So a cutter of this type takes getting used to and learning. Once you have the experience, these cutters give very good results.

The aluminium carriage has two ball bearings (top and bottom) for perfect gliding and high accuracy. At the sides the carriage rubs against the rail. The rail is very well finished and guarantees long service of the cutter without corrosion.

How the Battipav cutter is built

The carriage is built to adapt to different tile thicknesses.

The carriage has an aluminium breaker that magnetises to the carriage, so you can see the cutting line and it stays out of the way.

The base is made of extruded aluminium to combine light weight with strength.

A full rule, with good markings and adjustment. The rule lets you cut precise angles from -45° through 0 to +45°. The rule has a side stop for series cutting.

There are side extensions for large-format tile;

The base has spring-loaded clamping pads so the tile is easy to position.

A spare scoring wheel is included, sitting handily on the base.

In the middle of the base an iron bar is set in, and the snap happens along it. The bar makes it last.
