RUBI SPEED-62 MAGNET manual tile cutter
A compact, simple, light tile cutter for cutting ceramic and porcelain tile. For not much money you get a well-made cutter built in Spain. The base of the cutter is very strong, one-piece, made of injected aluminium. Two solid metal tubes 22 mm in diameter are mounted on two heavy metal posts. The large, comfortable push-type handle snaps not only ceramic but porcelain as well. The wide breaker feet magnetise to the carriage and stay out of the way while you score. The design of the carriage lets you break the tile along the whole travel of the carriage. Scoring wheels of different diameters can be fitted, which lets you cut tile with different properties. The pads the tile rests on are made of a two-layer material. The top layer is hard, the bottom one soft. That adds comfort and life to the clamping pads. The carriage slides on the tubes on special metal inserts, which need no grease, only to be kept clean. The legs let you set the tile up conveniently for the cut.
