Battipav PROFI EVO 133 ALU manual tile cutter
The flagship of the manual tile cutter range from the well-known Italian firm Battipav. Its main feature is how light the build is. Any tiler can carry this cutter without trouble. Thanks to the thin, well-made 15 mm scoring wheel, this cutter gives a good edge quality on the tile. It is made for cutting ceramic tile and porcelain stoneware up to 12 mm thick. Above that you may need a separate tile breaker as well.
The cutter has a percussion-type handle. The aluminium handle slides along the sides of the guide. The handle self-adjusts for cutting different tile thicknesses. There are bearings at the top and bottom of the handle to keep the movement smooth. There are aluminium breaker feet that magnetise to the handle while you score. The handle can be adjusted to reduce the gap. The base is light and strong, made of extruded aluminium. The cutter has two spring-loaded clamping pads so the tile is easy to position. The cutter has 4 sturdy galvanised legs that make cutting wide tile easier. The cutter has a full rule with a side stop, which lets you set different angles.
