SHIJING 3751 L 1200 mm tile cutter

SHIJING 3751 has earned its place on the Ukrainian market of manual monorail cutters with a 1200 mm cut length.

A massive aluminium body with good two-layer rubber pads, plus sturdy table extensions screwed to the body, holds the tile securely while you make the cut.

SHIJING 3751 features

• The table extensions carry an angle stop for holding tile on the diagonal.
• The strip under the breaker is made of steel and gives a clean break face after scoring.
• The side stop holds the tile firmly along almost its full length.

The guide rail is a rectangular tube with a three millimetre wall, its working faces ground for the bearings, and it comes across as reliable and hard-wearing.

Where the rail sits on the posts you can (and must) adjust it in the horizontal plane with lock nuts, which for some reason are not in the box.

SHIJING 3751 build

On the SHIJING 3751 the carriage is locked firmly on the guide rail and is separate from the lever with the scoring wheel. The radial bearings hold the cut parallel, which is built into the way they work, and that gives smooth, easy travel without much force. Working this way reduces friction between the bearings and the rail and extends its life.

The separately made lever with the scoring wheel has an extended handle, which takes less force to score and also improves the quality of the cut. The height of the wheel above the table is set by hand, by lifting the wheel with the handle. Declared cutting depth – from 7 to 16 mm. With the breaker sitting ahead of the wheel you can snap the tile anywhere along the whole length of the table.

The 22x5x6 mm tungsten carbide scoring wheel guarantees a long working life, up to twenty thousand metres, and is easy to reach for a quick change.

The SHIJING 3751 L 1200 tile cutter has a green laser pointer for the cut line on the front post, powered by a battery pack. It can also run on two AA batteries.
