Haisser Industry 1200 – this is a manual single-rail tile cutter (straight guide rail) with a cut length of 1200 mm. For modest money you get a professional-grade tool. It is used for tile and porcelain stoneware from 6 to 11 mm. Some tiles it will of course cut thicker than that, but you should not count on it.
Strong points of the cutter:
- Diagonal cut length 850 mm.
- The cutter has a one-piece reinforced steel bed with a thick solid stiffening rib 6 mm thick running the full length of the machine. Compared with an aluminium bed, for example, this one deforms less under load. That advantage lets you cut thick tile as well as porcelain stoneware.
- The bed comes with an aluminium handle and wheels so you can move it around the site easily.
- Solid rectangular steel guide rail.
- The reinforced ergonomic lever can develop up to 1000 kg of tile breaking force.
- The breaking foot (tile breaker) has plastic pads and locks onto the carriage for a comfortable score and better visibility.
- The replaceable carbide scoring wheel is titanium coated, which triples the life of the tool, runs on a bearing and measures 22x6x6 mm.
