SIGMA MAX 3D4M manual tile cutter L = 905 mm.

This is any tiler’s dream. It is one of the best cutters there is, and the only ones that can compete with it are the Rubi TX and the Rubi TP. Sigma, like every cutter, has its strong and weak points. This is not the cutter to buy at the start of your career. Sigma cutters are percussion-type, so you have to get used to it.

The main advantages are these:

1. It gives a straight cut on the most difficult tile.
2. It has a one-piece aluminium rail, which makes the structure rigid and light.
3. It has a well-machined metal rail that can be raised and lowered for cutting tile of different thicknesses.
4. Different handles can be fitted to the cutter. Changing the scoring wheel diameter (12, 15, 19 mm) and the pressure lets you cover the widest possible range of tile.
5. A steel plate is set into the breaking ridge, where most of the snapping happens, and it lasts the whole service life of the cutter.
6. The 10 mm rail thickness, once you have the experience, gives a clean straight cut.
7. One foot (leg) lets you cut wide tile. If you want, you can buy a second one for the other side.
8. Galvanised clamping pads make it comfortable to position the tile before the cut.
