The new Sigma philosophy of tile cutters:
1) from simple and dependable we move on to complicated solutions;
2) instead of breaking the tile with small taps on the lever, we break it by pressing. The breaker handle has grown;
3) the carriage runs along the rail (the guide) on three rollers. Each roller sits on two bearings. One roller is spring loaded so there is no need to adjust it in future;
4) the scoring wheel runs on open needle bearings, closed at the sides with brass bushings;
5) the rail and the guide are not adjustable for different tile thicknesses;
6) thank you for leaving the base as it was, and even widening it a little

The swivelling measuring bar that supports the tile turns 45° in both directions and pivots on the centre of the cutting line, which gives you the real dimensions of the piece you need to cut.

A second 45° measuring scale for checking the diagonal cut.

The quick positioning button makes setting the standard angles much faster. Calibration is possible.
