The RUBI TP 125 s is one of the best tile cutters there is. What sets it apart is its simplicity. The cutter has a percussion-type handle. The handle is aluminium and slides along the guide on its side faces. Underneath the handle sits a bushing that rolls along the rail. The guide rail is rectangular and straight. Guide rail height 50 mm, thickness 12 mm. The rail is made of high-carbon steel, which is very hard to bend. The base of the cutter is the same as on the Rubi TX 125 MAX ( injected aluminium, in two parts, joined by a strong thick-walled rail). The cutter has a one-piece cast aluminium ruler that sets the various cutting angles precisely. The 22 mm extrim carriage wheel is the best scoring wheel I know of. The base has galvanised clamping pads and 4 legs to support the tile. The base has 2 wheels and a handle for moving it around on site.
