Montolit MASTERPIUMA POWER 5 93P5

The new Power 5 line of Montolit tile cutters is where the Montolit engineers put many years of experience into practice.

A strong two-part aluminium base gives the frame good rigidity at a low weight. A galvanised spring-loaded pad is fixed to the base so that the tile sits comfortably.

At the breaking line there is a steel bar that does the job of the breaking rib.

The handle adjusts itself to any tile thickness. The handle carries a scoring wheel 16 mm in diameter. That is a middle-of-the-road wheel diameter, and it will score all sorts of tile. To the left and right of the wheel are steel plates that do not wear. On the side of the handle sits a cylinder you use to adjust how smoothly the handle travels.

You can feed oil into the scoring line, for tile that “breaks wrong”. Back-scoring at the start of the score is now possible too, since the pressure roller is no longer perforated.

The Montolit MASTERPIUMA POWER 5 has two handy legs for scoring wide tile. The legs swing through 90 degrees and lock neatly.

The traditional rule swings both ways and has the traditional fold-out stop.
