Kristal Giga-Cut Plus 1200 Manual Tile Cutter

KRISTAL GIGA-CUT PLUS 1200 is a professional tile cutter made in Turkey. It has the following features:
1) a good monorail made of chrome steel, which guarantees long life. Nicely polished to a shine
2) a carriage with the scoring wheel runs along the monorail on 12 bearings. The carriage is metal, dependable, long-lived. The side bearings are neither adjustable nor replaceable;
3) depending on what suits you and on tile thickness, the handle can be set in three positions. It moves without any tools;
4) a big handle and a long lever, which by the maker’s claim lets you cut tile up to 23 mm thick;
5) the carriage locks for transport;
6) the monorail can be lowered and raised according to tile thickness;
7) the cutter has a full-size rule that swings to one side. The rule can be locked and calibrated for 90 degrees and 45 degrees. The rule carries a side stop that folds out. Copied from Montolit cutters;
8) the base of the cutter is steel and well painted. A solid stiffening rib runs the whole length of the base.
9) the scoring wheel is 22 mm in diameter, on a bearing;
10) the carriage has two built-in breaker feet. The first is the traditional one, the second is for breaking on the diagonal. The main breaker is held up by a magnet, which keeps scoring comfortable and the line clearly visible;
11) it has six legs so that wide tile sits comfortably;
12) it weighs 27 kg, so there are feet to make moving it around the site easier;
13) a laser pointer is available (option);
14) to make positioning the tile easier it has six galvanised clamping pads. The pads are partly covered with a thin layer of plastic.
