The Sigma slider is made for cutting a chamfer, for the mitre joint, for cutting the tile edge at 45 degrees. A 115 mm blade comes with the slider, made for cutting hard porcelain stoneware or for taking off a chamfer.

Recommendations

I recommend using the special Distar 115-125 mm blades made for the 45 degree angle. Sliding along the edge of the tile (porcelain stoneware, marble, granite and so on), it gives an even, smooth finish over the whole length. The tool is already set for cutting at 46°, so the only adjustment you have to make is the distance of the blade from the tile edge! The smaller the chamfer, the greater the cutting angle becomes. It will work tile 5-20 mm thick and from 30 cm up to infinity in size in one pass. Connect a vacuum cleaner and there is no dust in the air.

The slider is super universal, any angle grinder for a 115 – 125 mm blade rated 700 – 1900 W will fit it.

The slider weighs only 3.8 kg.
