Drill chucks provide greater convenience due to the quick tool change when working with shanks of different sizes (e.g. HSS drills according to DIN 338). However, due to their technical design, they have disadvantages compared to collets: lower clamping force and higher concentricity tolerances. If high precision is required, it is definitely worth working with MICROMOT steel collets.
