V.GRAN Chamfer Slider — Rental

Cutting a chamfer (a cut at 45) is a hard task for a traditional electric tile cutter. And manual cutters cannot do such work at all. This is where the V.GRAN slider comes in. For chamfering hard porcelain stoneware you can fit 115 – 125 mm Distar Adge blades on the slider and run them at full speed. For a chamfer in ceramics I recommend Distar Slim blades, run at medium speed.  A Bosch GWS 9-125s angle  grinder with speed control will handle any material up to 13 mm thick. The slider is easy to adjust to set the  chamfer depth and the angle of attack.
