The Shijing P618A is made for carrying tile with all sorts of surfaces. It holds textured tile easily. The cup sucks itself down with its own compressor (creates the vacuum) and switches off once it has reached the vacuum it needs. If the surface is a really hard one, with microcracks, and the cup bleeds off, it will switch itself back on when the vacuum drops to the minimum level. The unit has a digital readout that tells you the vacuum level and the state of the battery charge. The rubber is black, but it leaves no marks on the tile. The kit includes a plastic guard for the rubber, a handy case and a charging cable.

How it works:

• first long press – switches on, builds the vacuum;
• two quick presses – the valve works, bleeds the air off;
• one press – builds the vacuum;
• one long press – switches off.
